ConTeras Industrial Group Acquires CD Energy Services
Acquisition expands ConTeras’ Western U.S. footprint and adds Denver-based scaffolding, insulation and access capabilities.
Houston, TX — July 15, 2026 — ConTeras Industrial Group (“ConTeras”), a national industrial and commercial multi-craft service contractor, today announced the acquisition of CD Energy Services (“CD”), a Denver-based specialty contractor serving customers across the Rocky Mountain region and the Western United States.
The acquisition expands ConTeras’ presence west of the Mississippi and strengthens its ability to support industrial and commercial customers in the Rocky Mountain region. CD operates through two established businesses, CD Specialty Contractors and CS Colorado Scaffolding, expanding ConTeras’ regional capacity and complementary service capabilities.

The acquisition advances ConTeras’ growth strategy following its partnership with funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. (“Oaktree”). ConTeras is building a national platform for maintenance and capital project services through operating companies that provide insulation, scaffolding, coatings, shoring, access systems, turnaround support, and related solutions.
As part of ConTeras, CD Energy Services will continue serving customers with the standard of service they expect. The business will also be able to draw on the broader platform for additional capacity, expertise, and complementary services while ConTeras works with CD’s local teams to maintain continuity for customers, employees, and vendor partners.
